SIMULATION OF INSTATIONARY, INCOMPRESSIBLE FLOWS

Abstract.  In this article a numerical method for the efficient simulation of instationary, viscous, incompressible flows in 2d and 3d is described. The time-discretization is based on the fractional step $\theta$-scheme in a variant as an operator splitting, which was introduced in Ref. 3.
