An explicit formula for spectral norms of circulant matrices with Chebyshev polynomials

Abstract

The spectral norms of circulant matrices containing some well-known number sequences are computed in numerous publications in the literature; however, they only provide bounds for the spectral norms. In this paper, we provide an explicit formula for the circulant matrix involving the Chebyshev polynomials of the second-kind.
