A minimum overall total of 281 person-months will be provided by young researchers whose employment will be financed by the contract.

Each team has at least 24 person-months for post-doc appointments, which makes it possible to have two one-year appointments (the typical length runs from 6 to 12 months). The pre-doc positions are thought for shorter appointments.

A number of postdocs will come from the teams in the network, but serious efforts will be made to attract postdocs without previouslinkages to one of the teams. In general a predoc will be a PhD-student in a team of the network who wishes to use the expertise present in the Network to increase his/her training.

Vacancies will be published through the web and bulletins of mathematical societies, and information about vacancies will be exchanged by the team coordinators and the training coordinator.
